Beachouse Accommodation

The Beachouse boasts architect designed dorms and doubles that have been specifically built for your comfort. The accommodation provided is clean, comfortable and cool as it utilises high ceilings and electric fans. We have also incorporated local Fijian matting and timber into the interiors for a traditional feel. This will possibly be the best backpacker accommodation you will have experienced (based on frequent guest comments).

All rooms and dorms are set amongst colourful gardens and manicured lawns. With acres of gardens dedicated to the resort area, you truly get the feeling of spaciousness and tropical beauty.

Garden Room Doubles (12 rooms):

• all rooms have queen or king size beds
• ceiling fans throughout
• fully insect screened
• private, comfortable and secure
• six of the garden rooms have an extra 2 beds

Beachouse Dorms (a range of 4 & 6 bed dorms):

• no standard bunks (all offset)
• ceiling fans throughout
• night light for each bed
• oversized beds
• fully insect screened
• spacious, clean & comfortable

The Beachouse has 12 garden doubles, and a range of 4 and 6 bed dorms. The surf shack also accommodates up to 12 guests. We generally have 40 to 60 travellers staying with us, but can take more than this number if required. The Beachouse is spread over acres of beachfront, so there is plenty of space to get lost or found .... depending on your inclination!!

We have male and female bathroom facilities strategically placed within the resort complex. These bathroom/toilets are extremely clean modern and spacious with hot showers.

Beachouse Activities

Each day you can either choose to keep yourself busy or simply relax in a beachside hammock or laze in or around the pool. For those wanting things to do, we have a range of free or low cost activities for you to enjoy.

• free use of sea-kayaks ... single and double ocean kayaks are available for use within the lagoon
  kayaking safaris can be organised easily
• snorkelling trips ...  operated by Sana, a local villager who charges FJ$10 per person for a snorkelling trip
  (inclusive of mask & fins)
• bush trek to Navola Falls ... a very popular 4 hour hike organised by Juta from Navola Village
  costs FJ$8 and all money goes to the village
• scuba diving ... Diveaway offer an excellent local dive experience. Full courses are offered for the uninitiated.
    shark dives are also available for the brave!!
• free coconut jewellery and coconut weaving classes ...  travellers spend hours happily perfecting coconut bracelets
  & necklaces under the guidance of Napoleon
• beach horse riding ... Eddie (from Navola Village) will be happy to take you for a ride
  costs Fj$20 per hour
• beach volleyball ... we have a very competitive, fun volleyball comp every afternoon. 
  A good workout after enjoying your free afternoon tea/coffee at 4pm
• fijian massage ...  for those of you feel you deserve to be pampered.  Taru and/or Suzanna will be happy to invigorate you
  with a massage F$20 for a full hour
• pool table competitions ...  test your skills on the pool table, a $20 bar tab for the winner
• wheelbarrow bar ... a fun way to enjoy the Beachouse’s tropical setting whilst sampling the best of Fiji’s brewing
• surfing the local reef ...   please note that this is only to be undertaken by experienced surfers.
